Hey everyone,
Haven't posted in a while, so I decided to put a couple pics up. I went with a local Ghost Hunter's Society last night to Manteno State Mental Hospital for an investigation. I got a few strange pictures (If you're curious, I can show you. Send me a PM through here) and I took a couple just landscape pics to remember it by. They might be tearing the building down soon unfortunately, to make way for a gated sort of community. It's a real shame, I'll miss investigating out there.
Here're a couple pics of the place. I might post one or two more later.
One of the many hallways leading between the buildings. This one leads into a Big open area that I believe used to be a visiting space/activity room for the patients.
Just windows that the patients used to sit in front of, watching the day go by.
It's a shame what the buildings, let alone the patients, went through overtime. The place has an overwhelming feeling of sadness to it. I'll miss it when it's gone, but I'm happy I had the chance to see it while it was here.
