lighthouseTook at picture of the lighthouse at a different perspective. This was up on the sidewalk and I can't decide if the stone pillar is a distraction or not.
What do you think?

Well, its kind of hard to tell with the size of the photo you posted, but from what I can see, yup its distracting. its a good shot but the post takes your eye to it instead of the pier.

Ok, I readjusted the size. I guess it was a tad to big.. 
Anyway, thanks for the input, I liked it with the pillar but now that I've looked at it longer, it does seem a bit distracting.

I can see where you would like the pillar in the shot.
All in all, though, I have to say I find it distracting also...
But that is just my opinion!
